Chaos in Canada? How Do the Canadians Feel (View from the North - recorded on 1/13/2025). The host for this show was Jay Fidell. The guest was Ken Rogers.

The discussion was: Retired Canadian businessman Ken Rogers helps us understand the effects of Trump's continuing insults and comments about Canada and his new foreign policy and extraterritorial aspirations involving Canada, Greenland and Panama. Is Trump serious or is this just another one of his news cycle distractions designed to cover his other agenda. What do the Canadians think about that. Did his insults to Trudeau accelerate the change in government. Is Canada moving right. Why, and who are the leaders of that movement, and how popular is it. How will critical policies change as a a result of that movement. How is Canada preparing for Trump's tariffs. What support or voluntary acquiescence to we see among Canadians to Trump's policies. How, if at all, does any of this change the relationship between Canada and the US.

The takeaway was: Canada is our closest neighbor and an important trading partner. It's welfare is important to us. There's a lot going on in Canada these days, and we need to follow what is going on there.
