The takeaway was: Iran generally backs down when attacked, and Israel has generally been able to handle Iran's retaliations. Bu it's not clear what will happen this time. This has been one of the most comprehensive military operations by Israel against Iran and the most violent retaliation so far. It is likely to continue and spread to other areas in the Middle East.
