The discussion was: Carl Baker, Senior Advisor for Pacific Forum, helps us understand the recent political events in South Korea, as well as the implications of the plane crash there, and North Korea's resumption of missile firing on the peninsula. How do these events affect South Korea's relationship with the new Trump administration, and with China, Japan and other countries in Asia.

The takeaway was: South Korea is an important ally of the US, so any signs of instability or threat should be of conern to us, and we need to follow what is going on there and what it means to us, and to other countries in Asia.
